Create a school
Open your own school on iSpeak, step by step.

Anyone with an iSpeak account can open a school. It takes a few minutes, and a new school starts on a free trial of its platform plan, so you can set everything up before you pay anything.
Before you start
- A name for your school, and the subjects you will teach.
- A short description — one or two sentences is plenty.
- A square logo, and a wide cover image if you have one.
The steps
- 1From Discover or your avatar menu, choose Create a school.
- 2Details: name, the subjects you teach and the levels for each, your location and a short pitch.
- 3Plan: choose the platform plan you will run on. It shows the monthly fee and the fee taken from each member payment.
- 4Card: save the card your plan will be charged to. Your school cannot be created without one.
- 5Done: your school is created with its own page, community, classroom, calendar and members list.
A new school is unlisted until you turn on Discover listing. That means you can set it up in private and open it when it is ready.
Right after creating it
- Add your pricing, so people can join.
- Invite your teachers and set their roles.
- Add your payout details — memberships cannot be charged until they are complete.
- Write your first post in the community feed so the school is not empty.
You can own more than one school. Each one has its own members, its own pricing and its own payouts.
