Keep your account secure
Passwords, sessions, blocked people and your message privacy.
Your account is one account for the whole platform, so keeping it secure protects everything: your memberships, your payments and your messages.
Your password
- Use a long password you do not use anywhere else.
- Change it from your settings if you think it has been seen.
- If you signed up with Google or Microsoft, your password is theirs, not ours.
Your sign-in history
Settings shows you the recent sign-ins on your account, with the time and the device. If you see one you do not recognise, change your password and tell support.
Blocking people
You can block another member. Blocking stops them messaging you and hides your content from them; it does not remove you from a school or delete anything. You can unblock at any time.
Who can message you
- Teachers are allowed to message you by default, so they can reach you outside class times.
- Classmates are not, until you switch it on — both people have to agree before a conversation can start.
Your one-to-one messages are encrypted end to end. iSpeak cannot read them, and neither can a platform admin.
