Manual payments
When a school collects payment itself, in cash or by transfer.
Most schools on iSpeak take card payments through the app. A few also — or instead — collect payment themselves, in person or by bank transfer. That is called a manual payment.
How you know
If a school collects manually, its join step tells you so instead of opening a card form, and its pricing is shown in the currency it collects in.
What to expect
- You arrange the payment with the school, not with iSpeak.
- The school records it against your membership.
- Your access starts when the school marks it as received.
A manual payment does not produce an iSpeak receipt, because iSpeak never handled the money. Ask the school for its own receipt.
If your access has not started
A manual payment shows up on your membership only once the school has recorded it. If you have paid and your access has not started, contact the school — iSpeak cannot see money it never collected.
Not sure which kind of school you are joining? The join step always tells you before you commit to anything.
