Courses and lessons

The school’s own course library, and how progress works.

1 min readLast updated 24 October 2026

The classroom holds the courses a school has written itself: lessons with video, text, images and files. Unlike a live class, you work through it at your own pace.

Working through a course

  1. 1Open the school and go to Classroom.
  2. 2Choose a course. Its lessons are listed in order.
  3. 3Open a lesson, work through it, and mark it complete when you are done.

Your progress is kept per course, so you can stop halfway and come back to it weeks later.

What a lesson can hold

  • Video — uploaded by the school, or embedded from YouTube, Vimeo or Loom.
  • Written content, images and downloadable files.
  • A discussion thread, where you can ask the teacher a question about that lesson.

Discussion threads are answered by the school’s staff, not by other members. Keep questions about the lesson there so they stay with it.

Which courses you can open

Some schools unlock particular courses only for particular membership tiers. If a course is locked, the lesson list shows which tier opens it.
