Owner plans and fees
What a school pays iSpeak, and what that includes.
Running a school on iSpeak costs two things: a monthly platform fee, and a small fee taken from each member payment. The plan you choose sets both.
The two parts
- A monthly fee, charged to your card, for the platform itself.
- A transaction fee — a percentage plus a fixed amount — taken from each member payment.
The two plans
- Hobby — $19 a month for the platform, and 10% + $0.30 taken from each member payment.
- Pro — $49 a month for the platform, and 5% + $0.30 taken from each member payment.
Your trial
Every new school starts on a 14-day free trial of its plan, so you can build the school before you pay anything. You are told in advance when the trial ends, and you can change plan at any time.
Where you manage it
Plans, your card and your billing history are in Billing. Each school is billed separately, so you can see exactly what each one costs.
If a plan payment fails, your school keeps working for 7 days. After that it goes read-only: members keep their access and the school stays visible, but its settings cannot be changed until a working card is saved.
Changing plan
You can move up or down at any time. Moving up takes effect immediately; moving down takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
