About Sahypa

A centre in Türkmenabat that began with literacy teaching and grew into a full language school. Its strongest work is with young learners and with adults who want to write their own language confidently: Turkmen and Russian literacy courses sit alongside English for children from six upwards, taught through stories, songs and a great deal of repetition. Older pupils join a general English programme with a reading club attached. Classes are grouped by age as well as level, which the centre says matters more for young learners than level alone.
